The Knox Box Rapid Entry System Saves Lives and Property
The Knox-Box Rapid Entry System is a secure emergency access program developed for residential and business property owners and first responders. First Responders use the Knox-Box Rapid Entry System to prevent costly damage to homes and businesses while protecting property and lives. In the event of a fire, fire related emergency, or a medical emergency, Knox Box products allow immediate entry into buildings and property without forced entry damage or delay.
The Knox Box is a small, very secure metal box that is attached to your home or business. It is typically placed near the building’s entrance. Property owners can store keys, access cards, contact lists, or floor plans in the secured Knox-Box. Each Knox-Box purchased by a property owner is keyed to a single master key controlled by our fire department.
Knox Boxes come in several sizes and styles and can be surface mounted or recessed into a wall. It is up to the home or business owner to select the box that best fits your needs. You also have the option to have the Knox Box wired into your home security alarm system.
